If Morton beat Airdrie, and Queen’s Park and Ayr United both lose, and Morton make up a 3-goal deficit with Queen’s Park, Morton will finish sixth.

If Morton win and only one of Queen’s Park and Ayr United draw or win, Morton will finish seventh.

If Morton, Queen’s Park and Ayr United all win, Morton will finish eighth. If Morton and Airdrie play to a draw, Morton will finish eighth.

If Airdrie beat Morton, and Ross County lose, Morton will finish ninth and go into a playoff against either Alloa or Queen of the South.

If Airdrie beat Morton, and Ross County win and make up a 4-goal deficit, Morton will finish tenth and be relegated.

The last time Morton went into the final weekend not knowing their fate was 2021. They finished ninth and had to beat Montrose and Airdrie in the playoffs to stay up.

Morton have met New Airdrieonians on the last day of the season only once before, on May 15th, 2004. Airdrie won 2 – 0.
